Bio
    Hongbo Kang is a Ph.D. candidate at Tsinghua University, where he is advised by Professor Yongwei Wu. He has been engaged in a research collaboration with Professor Phillip B. Gibbons for years. Kang's research focuses on the theory and practice of efficient (usually parallel or distributed) algorithms for large-scale data. His research interests span the areas of non-volatile-memory algorithms, processing-in-memory algorithms, and learned indexes.
